Nyme Chat Privacy Policy

Nyme Chat connects adults for anonymous voice and text conversations. We collect as little information as possible while still keeping the community safe with AI moderation and manual reviews.

Last updated: November 2025

1. Data we do not collect

  • No registration — we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or social accounts.
  • No profile photos or avatars.
  • No chat transcripts or voice recordings are stored on our servers.
  • No advertising identifiers or behavioural tracking for marketing purposes.

2. Anonymous session identifiers

On first launch we generate a random internal ID (UUID) and store it locally on your device. We use this identifier to manage temporary connections, run AI-powered safety heuristics, respond to reports, and block abusive behaviour. The ID does not reveal your identity and is never shared with other users.

3. Reports and moderation

You can block or report another participant at any time. When you submit a report we capture only the reported user's internal ID, the timestamp, and the selected reason. Our AI moderation system analyses the metadata and our safety team may review the report manually. Five reports in 24 hours result in a temporary 24-hour device ban. We do not automatically store or review the contents of your conversations.

4. Age restriction

Nyme Chat is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow minors to use the service and may remove users who appear to be underage.

5. Security

Voice calls use encrypted WebRTC connections and text sessions are ephemeral. Once a chat ends, related connection data is discarded from our servers. Limited technical logs (such as error traces) may be retained briefly for debugging and are routinely purged.
